Our Ideal Audience Member

After taking the questionnaire from the 'Uk tribes ' website and answering the questions as our ideal audience member would; the results came out with 'A Grunger.' The website classified a Grunger as:

'You are a Grunger! You wear plaid like it’s a uniform and your jeans – not to mention hair – haven’t been washed in several weeks. Your music taste is dominated by those who know how to create feedback with a guitar and a good chunk of it was created while you were still learning to walk. If the artist has died of a tragic death – like your icon, Kurt Cobain – so much the better.'

This is quite close to our perfect audience, but more of a Skin head than a Grunger.

Our perfect Audience member would look like this:

Which is classified as a 'Skinhead.' 

Clothes - The boys would wear braces, shirt, high boots: like Doc Martins, fly jackets and tight trousers. They would normally have a shaved head.

Girls would wear tight top, tight mini skirt, ripped tights, fly jacket, Doc Martins and would have a shaved head, with maybe a fringe. 

Skinheads also wear a lot of the Union Jack.
They would have many tattoos: containing stuff like: F*** the Queen and pictures of topless woman...

They would normally hang out in Brixton, Manchester, Sheffield, Camden and suburbs of London. 

Food they would eat: Chicken and chips and poor man's food.

Music they would listen to:  Black popular music genres such as soul, ska, rocksteady and early reggae: Bands like: Madness, The Specials and The Selector. A genre of music called Oi! was invented by Skinheads and the type of band that played this music was a band called 'Screwdriver.' Here is a taster of their music:

The kind of thing they would do on a Saturday night, was commit anarchy, set fire to a car, go to a hard core concert in Brixton... and then start a crowd fight, go to a pub and then get chucked out and then eventually pass out in some ditch. 

They would enjoy tele, but wouldn't have the concentration to sit still and watch it. They would enjoy watching films - If it was edgy, violent and not about the richer class.
