Prelim Task

Here is a Prelim task that we were commisioned to create. The Brief contained the stroryline "involving filming and editing a character opening a door, crossing a room and sitting down in a chair opposite another character, with whom she/he then exchanges a couple of lines of dialogue." The task required us to involve the the 180 degree rule, a match on action and a shot/ reverse shot. We used tried to get the idea of the two people coming together using the editing technique 'cross cutting.' A Match on action is when the girl with the blonde hair is tapping her fingers and the 180 degree is not broken. Finally the shot/reverse shot is when they were having a conversation.
